San Cono
San Cono is MGW's primary lodging location in the Department of Soriano, Uruguay located near the capital city of Mercedes. San Cono is located within a major dove roost with excellent wingshooting minutes away from the lodge. This area of Uruguay is also known for its perdiz hunting during the months of June and July. If you are a fisherman and want to experience an excellent cast and blast, San Cono is the place for you during the warm months of the year (mid-October - mid April) with a day of golden dorado followed by an unforgettable dove hunt. San Cono in located 4 1/2 hours from the Montevideo International Airport (MVD) or 2 hours from the Colonia Ferry Terminal.
San Cono is a rustic, clean, and comfortable lodge which has the ability to handle up to 10 hunters if the secondary building is used for lodging. There are 7 bedrooms all with a private bath. Relax after the hunt at the wine cellar and cocktail area or enjoy the covered and heated pool with a poolside bar. San Cono sits on a large parcel of land where you can get away from the everyday busy life and enjoy the wonders Uruguay offers.
